Cher Aslor (Owner, Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor) began her movement studies as a young child with ballet and jazz. After attending C.U. Boulder for a B.A. in Theater and Dance and Spanish, she moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and received a year Scholarship at Tremaine Dancer Center in North Hollywood. Cher danced professionally while living in the Los Angeles area for ten years, performing in several feature films, music videos, commercials, television shows and cruise lines. It was in Los Angeles that she was certified in the Classic Pilates Method at Whole Body Gallery. Her teachers included Heidi Kling who trained directly under first generation elder Romana Kryzanowska, and Gin Gavran who trained under Michelle Larson. Cher returned to Colorado in 2004 to be closer to family and the mountains. In 2006 Cher was certified in Power Yoga and Yoga Sculpt at Core Power Yoga. You can find Cher teaching yoga at Core Power Yoga and Urban Flow in the Highlands. Cher is currently working on her Forrest Yoga certification, proud to be a Lululemon Ambassador, and stays committed to her continuing education in the health and fitness field.
Nicole is a Classical Pilates instructor and yoga aficionado. She received her formal Pilates training through Hope Petrine at the Pilates of Cherry Creek Studio, who received her certification through the Pilates elder Romana Kryanowska. Her keen interest in Pilates/yoga began while living in NYC working for the Momentum Aids Project, a non-profit organization addressing the needs of HIV positive populations. In order to reenergize both body and soul, maintain physical strength, and keep a positive perspective she turned to Bikram yoga and Classical Pilates.
Her study of Pilates continued in San Francisco while working for a yoga apparel company: lululemon athetica.  Her position required her to frequent all yoga and Pilates studios in the Bay Area. In 2005 she began training w/ Samantha Rudofsky, certified Stott Pilates instructor at Infusion Pilates in the Marina District, and continued her certification here in Denver.  Her focus and motivation stems from the constant drive to maintain an inner grace through external practice using The Pilates Method principles of control, center, concentration, breath, flow, and precision. Through the use of these principles one can drastically improve their quality of life.
Nicole holds a degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University allowing her to fully appreciate Joseph Pilates’ approach in creating an exercise routine that speaks to the human psyche and counteracts the harmful inherent conditions associated w/ modern civilization.
Deanna Chillan received her Pilates Certification and apprenticeship with Master Teacher Laua Kolestar in 2003. She also is certified in Level 1 Gyrotonic and is currently pursuing the advanced repertoire in both Pilates and Gyrotonics. Her wellness philosophy is “in all things, find balance”. Deanna enjoys hiking with her dog Jake, biking, making art, visiting art galleries, and reading. pH7 Pilates is proud to have Deannas patient way of teaching along with her excellent communication skills for you to experience in one of her classes.
